We say a set of bivariate sample as paired when two different measures has been taken on a same group of individuals. That is, the units in the sample to be considered are fixed, it is only the fact that two different characteristics we are considering on them. Now, here, in two different weeks, one before advertisement and one after advertisement, the set of drivers in the first set are different from those in second set. So, it is not on same set of individuals. i.e the drivers are independent of each other. So by option (a) the data is not paired.

b) To get the answer of (b) you need give the count of stopped drivers. Calculate the mean of number of drivers of all days in both the weeks and then calculate the difference. Which will be the answer
