a. Null HYpothesis : H0 : The average Academic acheivement measured by GPA for all 3 given groups are same.
Research HYpothesis : Ha : The average Academic acheivement measured by GPA for all 3 given groups are different.
b. Dependent Variable : Academic Achievement measured by GPA is indpendent variable.
InDependent Variable : Welfare of the child either by some sort of child welfare system or some foster home or none.
3. We will use ANOVA test here as because there are more than two groups to compare.
4. IF we got a statisticall significant result, we can declare that child welfare system put significant effect on academic acheivement for youth. Later, we can determine that which group was most affected by using non- parametric test like Tukey Post - hoc test. So, we could be able to determine the relationship between these two variables.
