- The younger and more capable employees can give better participation as older employees can quit the employment on being incapable of performing their duties.

- Early retirement costs can be chanred to pension funds.

Disadvantages of voluntary early retirement program to the organization are:

- Unplanned budgeting for the program because of sudden declaration of retirement.

- Excessive loss or shortage of workers and time of urgent or abundance work.

- Comparisons and shifts in ratio of underperformers and top perforamers may vary adversly.
