Write only a number as your answer. Round to two decimal places (for example 0.49). Do not write as a percentage.Explanation / Answer
Solution:-
1) Probability of restaurents guven that is in a city with a population over 500,000 and located in Northeast = 0.481
Number of restaurents that are located in a city with a population over 500,000 = 140 + 25 + 30 + 96 = 291
Number of restaurents that are located in Northeast = 140
Probability of restaurents guven that is in a city with a population over 500,000 and located in Northeast = 140/291
Probability of restaurents given that is in a city with a population over 500,000 and located in Northeast = 0.481
2)
Probability of restaurent given that it is located in northwest and city with a population over 50,000 is 0.37.
Number of restaurents that are located in a city with a population over 50,000 = 30 + 50
Number of restaurents that are located in Northwest = 139 + 30 + 50 = 219
Probability of restaurent given that it is located in northwest and city with a population over 50,000 = 80/219
Probability of restaurent given that it is located in northwest and city with a population over 50,000 is 0.37.
