The company taken here is whole foods. This is a firm that believes that collaborative decision making is an effective decision making which has turned the company to a $13 billion organization. This type of decision is taken by the CEO by discussing with the top minds in the organization. When there is difference of opinions, it leads to an effective decision making. It also generally takes a long time to take a decision but moves faster once it is implemented.
Hence employees in the organization are encouraged to share their comments so that decision taken ultimately will be an effective decision. When others are involved in decision making, the flaws present can be identified which helps in better decision making.
