Explanation / Answer

Here A is the event that either a 3 or 4 is rolled first, followed by an even number.

So sample space for event A is : [(3,2), (3,4), (3,6) (4,2) (4,4) (4,6)]
Total no. of events can be = 6 * 6 = 36
P(A) = 6/36 = 1/6

Here B is the event that the sum of two rolls is at most 7.
So sample space for event B is:
[(1 6) (1 5) (1,4) (1,3) (1,2) (1,1)
(2,5) (2,4) (2,3) (2,2) (2,1)
(3,4) (3,3) (3,2) (3,1)
(4,3) (4,2) (4,1)
(5,2) (5,1)
(6,1) ]

Total no. of events can be = 6 * 6 = 36
So P(B) = 21/36 = 7/12
