Explanation / Answer

(a) Both the bars start from 50. As per rule, all bars should start from 0. Because of starting from 50, it appears from the bar chart that Obama is more than double of McClain, which is not correct. This will become evident, if both bars start from 0.

(b) Though the price incease is only double, since the pictogram is 2 dimensional, it gives a magnification of 4, which is not correct.
