a) Population I stars include the sun and tend to be luminous , hot and young and concentrated. They are particularly found in the spiral arms.
b) Population 2 stars tend to be found in globular clusters and the nucleus of a galaxy . They tend to be older , less luminous and are cooler than Population 1 stars
c) The most common type of star in the galaxy is red dwarf
d) The brightest star in the galaxy is sirius
