Ans: 439/(439+132) = 0.769

(b) Use the given information to estimate the probability that a newborn baby is male, given that the ultrasound predicted the baby would be male.

Ans: 382/(382+47) = 0.890

c) Ultrasound appears to be more reliable in predicting boys as it predicted about males 89% right than for girls which was about 77%.
