Once you have completed your interview, spend time reflecting on the scope of understanding and broad awareness that is required by management. What skills make a business professional adept at maintaining an awareness of the processes and requirements of each of the primary business functions? Was there anything about the issues that surfaced during your interview that surprised you?
For your primary discussion, you need to conduct your interview. Based on those findings, put together a summary (150 words) that gives an overall picture of how businesses operate according to the people you interviewed. Be sure to address how the relationship between each of the primary business functions identified impacts overall productivity and how you feel this information could impact your company.

The role of a business manager is very crucial for any organization.They can not perform according to there will in haphazard manner instead they have to be very active in taking decisions regarding the organization.The main functions of a manager are:planning,organizing,staffing,leading and controlling.These are the areas where a business manager has to focus upon so that the organization runs efficiently.
After interviewing a business manager it is forund that the manager is a person who is multitasking.He plays many roles at the same time like a good planner,a leader,decision maker,problem solver,coach etc.Therefore the role of a manager is very wide and at the same time very important too.
A mangement requires a lot of understanding and awareness.Without it the company can not function properly.The process of management consists of various activities like creating an integrated process so that each and every department have a coordination among them.A lack of coordination among the department and the employees is not a good sign for an company.It will effect the overall performance of the business/organization.There must be a continous process of identifying the problem aroused and immediately find a solution of that problem.Here the role of a manager becomes very crucial.During the interview it was noted that many a times there is a situation of conflict among the employees regarding various issues and the manager has to play a role of the problem solver for such situations.
The skills which should be in a business professional for maintaining awareness of the process is an inherent character of effective administrator and this requires all the basic business fuctions.A good administrator should posesses a human skill so that he could understand the problems of the employees and give solution to them.
During the interview a question was put up to the manager that how does he manage the conflicts among the employees? The manager answered that here the funtion of a leading is used.Talking to both the employees and discussing there problem is an easy way so that there conflict is solved.He also mentioned that sometimes the conflict rises very high and a manager also start facing problem in solving the issue.But this is where the manager has to be very effective and must try and to get the problem resolved.
The next thing is developing a technical skill.This also plays an important role. As change is the rule of nature and everything has to be changed.Many new technical skills are introduced in the organization. A question was put up to that manager regarding the technical skill that how do you master the technical skills introduced in the organization and how do you motivate other employees to master the new technologies?
The answer was given that for the employees various training methods are conduct and it is make sure that they took active participation in the training programs.For himself he tries to study the technicality of the skill and then deliver it to his subordinates.
All the basic functions of management are related to each other and depends upon each other.The function of planning is utmost without this any new thing cannot be implemented.A plan is set to reach out the goals of any organization.The next thing is oraganizing the resources for the acheivement of the goals of the organization.The role of a leader is very crucial as he is the one who takes decisions to get the desired result without much effort.For example the company is lacking financial resources so it is the role of the manager to arrange the finances .The next thing is the selection of proper staff who can be proved as an asset of the company.They must be skilled employees.After that a proper guidance is necessary for the selected staff so that they can perform to there fullest and this comes under the function of a strong leadership.The next and the last step is to control the usage of the resources.Right thing must be put up at the right place so that 100% result is generated.
The manager has also reflected all these qualities so that the oragnization funtions well.Also he added that the functions of management are to be perfomed well.He provided examples of the proper coordination of the departments of the organization.He mentioned that without proper usage of the resources no company can become a profit earning company.These functions have a very high impact on the overall productivity of the company.Lacking in any of the fuction will ultimately gives you losses which any company do not wants.
