Question: I just want to make sure that I am doing this right and have appropriately identified what the IQR is, why to use the box and whisker, and central tendency I chose? If I did not can you please explain? I also listed all measurments found for this data.

Mean = 16.75 Median =15 Mode= 15 Range= 49-6= 43 Variance= 124 SD= 11.14 C.V= 66.5%

I found- for number set 6,8,10,11,13,15,15,16,17,19,22,49

1) 31.25-12.75=18.50 (By Q1= 12+1/4=3.25 SO, add # at 3 to # at 4(.25)====10+11(.25)=12.75

                                      Q3= 3(12+1)/4=9.75 So, add # at 9 to # at 10(.75)====17+19(.75)=31.25 Together IQR= Q3-Q1======31.25-12.75=18.50

2) I said I would use a box and whisker because when I made a histogram for the data it had a skew to the right and that this would help to represent the data with the outlier.

3) I said :To measure central tendency, I would use the median. This is because there is an outlier and the data is skewed.

Data is skewed ,so use Box plot.
