Question: I have dataset I want to examine2 variable one of them is numeric ( price ) and the other one is ...

I have dataset I want to examine2 variable one of them is numeric ( price ) and the other one is factor ( satisfaction- with level from 0 to 5)

what should I do to test these variables?

I wanted to know if there is any relationship between them? should I do Chi -test? and if should I do it with the whole population? may I use multiple linear regression?

Should I classify the satisfaction further to high and low?

Explanation / Answer

Multiple class classification can be used to predict satisfaction level using price as the explanatory variable. Multiple regression would not help since it can give decimal values to satisfication which might be difficult to round off. Scatter plots can also be used to study the relationship between the two variables.
