Activity D cannot start till A, B and C are complete. After completion of activity A, B & C activity would simultaneously start. However, in 1st case B would complete in 2 days and C took 5 days. To begin activity D, there was a 3-day wait after B got over. However, there will be now a 2-day wait after C completes as B will push out timeline by 2-days.
