Question

2a. You are an I/O psychologist hired as a consultant to help increase employee morale within an office. During your observation period, you notice that the division of labor is distributed very poorly. The ten employees in this office have different positions with different responsibilities, but some employees seem very overwhelmed by the numerous tasks of their position and by client demand, while others have moderate amounts of duty and others seem to have only a few duties and spend most of the day socializing with peers and clients, updating their social media profiles, or making personal phone calls. The supervisor is present in the office most of the time, but does not redirect or seem to even notice the imbalance. What steps do you take to begin the process of improvement of employee morale. How do you discuss this with the supervisor? What tasks do you need to perform? What suggestions do you need in make in regard to office changes before you can address the morale?
