In plot(a), as the residual values keep on increasing, as the

predicted values increase.So it violates the constant variance

assumption.

In plot(b), the residual plot exhibits a pattern like parabola,

so some higher order terms is required in order to explain the

variation. Hence, the residual plot violates the linearity

assumption.

Plot(c) is completely random, it is distributed randomly, so

linearity assumption is satisfied. Also, it is distributed

uniformly above and below the x-axis. So, the constant

variance assumption is also satisfied. Hence, there is no

violation in this plot.
