Question

6. What assumptions are required to find confidence intervals (and pvalues) in this case? Select all that apply and list answers alphabetically without spaces (eg ab not ba).

a - The two samples are independent and each is obtained using a SRS

b - There are no extreme outliers

c - The population standard deviations are equal

d - The populations follow an approximate normal distribution

The comment was made that the data was not given. I'm unsure what data you need since this is all that I have. Are you referring the the estimated SE? Degrees of Freedom? What data do you not have to answer the question I posed? The data is in the table. I don't need anyone to give me the answers. I need help with the question that says: 6.
