(a) Let's calculate z such that area from P(Z=0) to P(Z1) is .05 and similarly, area from P(z=0) to P(-z1) is also .05. Clearly,now the other area is .9 , as area between -z1 to z1 is .1.From, z-table, we find out that such value of z1 is .13 and hence, z-value are .13 and -.13.
