Explanation / Answer

1. Absolute/Authoritative leadership style.

2. Instructive leadership style.

3. Unlimited freedom leadership style.

From my point of view the "Unlimited freedom Leadership style" is more effective as this allows the subordinates to be more efficient, learn at the job, communicate effectively and therefore, grow, in response to the culture that is followed by the organization.

Her most distinguishable trait would be her resourcefulness and her management style which allows her to get sympathetic to the needs of the employees that she manages and allow them to come to her with their problems instead of causing workplace problems and issues that are caused due to miscommunication. She accepts new challenges with open hands and allows the organization to conform to the developing trends of the market which allow her to then create a workforce that can effectively deal with unfavourable or even unprecedented problems and provide the solution for it due to her skills and experience at being such a great leader.

2. I work in an organization (Sitel) where learning and growth are central. Part of the family functions and the entire implementation of all the functional revolve around this. People are allowed their freedom. To find creative solutions to problems, proper standards are maintained and mistakes are allowed to be made which essentially allow a company to build a better structure which is more suited to deal with various different function and challenges that are provided to it. This allows the people to be more efficient, learn at the job, communicate effectively and therefore, grow, in response to the culture that is followed by the organization.

Using this pattern any Leader can help their workers manage their time efficiently and reduce slacking and increase productivity.

3. A leader should be independent and adjusting. He should have the qualities of ethics, hard work and virtue and also be able to handle the situation as need be. They need to have good intellect, communication skills and humility which allows them to be able to lead a time. While a manager should be bold and straightforward. They should have proper communication skills to get their point across.

They should be insightful, capable and able to multi-task and predict the right course of action as need be also, they should be goal oriented. These qualities allow a manager to guide their workforce to achieve goals that they set and provide the teams with a sense of direction. Leadership is an ability of a person or an organization to guide an individual or group of individuals and compel them to produce good results.

Management is supervising the activities of a task in order to achieve the goals and objectives of an organization or an individual.

I think all managers are good leaders but all leaders cannot be always good managers. A manager manages and leads people to achieve the task fulfilling the vision and goals of an organization whereas a leader motivates and inspire people towards a specific goal, how that goal is reached is not the concern of the leader but of the manager.

4. Ethics are the principles over which entire working of a business depends upon. Therefore, it is necessary for a business to maintain its ethical values so that it provides others with an example to follow.
It is a company’s role and responsibility to follow these ethics but they have a legal right as well as a necessity to validate all the information that a

prospective candidate submits at the time of the interview and they have to be sure that they are choosing a person that has a good moral character and does not indulge in illegal practices or abuse the freedom of social media. The company, however, should limit their investigations to certain areas on the internet and personal information and topics should be left out of this, that way, they only take into account the character of the person not what they do in their life. That has nothing to do with the person that their company wants to work for them.

Motivation is a great tool that can be used positively in this respect. It is seen that positive reinforcement of any positive behaviour allows good working habits to be cultivated in the mind of the employee. Not only does this allow bad behaviour to be rooted out. It allows the employees to feel confident even when they are being criticised and helps the organisation to reach its desired goal and Leaders have direct contact with their subordinates and whenever the employees face any kind of trouble, They encourage them and give them directions. As happiness can also be a measure of productivity, and an efficient workforce can help a business grow and achieve its desired goal.

5. The 3 contemporary approaches to leadership are:-

1. Absolute/Authoritative leadership style.
2. Instructive leadership style.
3. Unlimited freedom leadership style.

1.Authoritative leadership style: Under this type of leadership style the leader gives the directions to their subordinates and expects him to accomplish the task without asking any questions. It helps the organisation to speed up the process in order to reach its ultimate goal. Whereas, The subordinates remain unskilled and frustrated most of the time.

2.Instructive leadership style: Leaders have direct contact with the subordinates and whenever the employees face any kind of trouble, They encourage them and give them directions. As happiness can also be a measure of productivity, and an efficient workforce can help a business grow and achieve its desired goal.

3. Unlimited Freedom leadership style: Under this form of leadership style Subordinates are allowed their freedom. To find creative solutions to problems, proper standards are maintained and mistakes are allowed to be made which essentially allow a company to build a better structure which is more suited to deal with various different function and challenges that are provided to it.

I believe that the "Unlimited freedom Leadership style" is more effective as this allows the subordinates to be more efficient, learn at the job, communicate effectively and therefore, grow, in response to the culture that is followed by the organization.
