ANswer : We will use t test for two dependent or paired sample hypothesis test.

b. Which test would you use to see if there was a difference between the number of smokers in all of the age categories.

ANswer: We will use CHi-square test for independence here.

c. Which test would you use to see if there was a difference between the temperature in any of the categories?

Ans : We wil use one way ANOVA test here.

d. If an F test indicated a difference between categories, which type of tests would you use to determine which categories were different.

We will use Tukey HSD or Fischer exact test for this situation.

e.  The F test must exceed what value in order to conclude with =0.025 that there is a difference between any two groups when comparing heart rate before exercise in the 4 groups shown in the table.
