Question
To test a null hypothasis le, the slope of the regression line is Q, the p-value is calculated as p-0,0003 based on the appropriate test statistics. Among the following four conclusions, what is the incorrect conclusion? O The slope of the regression line is 0 wita=0.05 The slope of the regression line is significantly difflerent than O with a 0.1 The slope of the regression line is significantly different than 0 with a-0.01 The slope of the regression line is significantly different than O with a 0.001Explanation / Answer
Here p - value is 0.0003 which is very less than standard significance level 0.05 so we can say that slope coefficient is significant and it is not zero.
As p - value of 0.003 < 0.05, 0.1, 0.01, 0.001
So, the slope is significant at each of the significance level.
So, option b , option c and option d are correct answer as the slope of the regression line is significantly different than 0 with alpha = 0.1, 0.01, 0.001
But, Option A : the slope os the regression line is 0 with alpha = 0.05 is incorrect as slope is significant for each of the level. so this option is the incorrect conclusion.
