Explanation / Answer

Leadership is all about core business ethics & experiences. Having worked for nearly two years in the Information Technology field, I have understood for a fact that business skills are applied to every decision in a quotidian manner. Interacting with the diverse crowd which incorporates people from different parts of the world has broadened my perception towards many a thing.

`Business is nothing but realizing what people need and converting that unique value proposition into something which can generate revenues in the long run. Keeping in mind the volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous world we live in today, the importance that management education can play in dealing with uncertainties cannot be undermined. The knowledge acquired through MBA has equipped me with the necessary skills in my repertoire to deal with all kinds of business scenarios come what may.

I have been a meticulous planner in my school and college. However, it was during the tenure at my job, when I faced business challenges where I had to analyze and provide solutions that my management and planning skills were put to the test. These hurdles drove me to come up with some good business ideas which were later commended by my colleagues as these ideas gave some productive& coherent resolutions. At the same time, I have realized that a firm formal education in this field was something that was amiss.

Having done my education from a premier institution, I have been amidst some of the brightest minds in the country. This has provided me with an opportunity to have a healthy competition in terms of learning, and build better relationships that have helped me emerge as the leader I aspire to be. In conclusion, I have got plenty of will, all I need is away to channelize it in the right direction. The culture of innovation in an organization like Tesla will help me to hone my skills further and at the same time contribute to the growth of the organization.
