a) We have to find the sample mean.

Excel command is =AVERAGE(Select data)

we get the sample mean = 9.8056

Now we have to find sample standard deviation.

Excel command is =STDEV(Select data)

We get the sample standard deviation = 3.6183

b) In this part, we have to find first quartile, second quartile and third quartile.

For first quartile (Q1) excel command is =QUARTILE(Select data , 1)

We get Q1 = 7.5

For third quartile (Q3) excel command is =QUARTILE(Select data , 3)

We get Q3 = 11.6
