Consider the following situation: A researcher wants to find out if there is any relationship between college students' jobs and their success during a semester Use the space below to list as many potential sources of variation that this researcher may want to attend to as she designs her study AND explain why you believe she should. The potential sources of variation, ,the researcher might be interested to address are attributed to variation in jobs, variation in semester, and variation due to interaction between jobs and semester. Further, variation in semester can be attributed to variation in classes attended during the semester, total hours studied during the semester. Variation in jobs are attributed to nature of jobs, duration of job, salary of job. These variations are in every way affect the relationship between the variables-jobs and success. For example, a less duration job is going to add more time for study, resulting into a positive association between student's job and success during semester.
