There are differences in the number of patients served by the day of the week . Monday received the highest number of patients and Thursday received the lowest number of patients . Based on the findings it is recommended that maximum number of nurses be available for work on Monday . Followed by monday , the next day in the week that requires higher nurse staff is friday . Tuesday and wednesday would require an equal number of nurse staff to be available for work as the difference in the number of patients visiting the hospital one these two day is not too high. Finally thursday would require lower staff as the number of patients visiting hospital on thursday is low compared to the rest of the days in the week
