The prevalance of Autistic disorder are varies from the male to female .According to the center for desease control and prevention prevalence is 18.4 per 1000 among males and 4.0 per thoused in females. prevalance among non-hisponic white children was significantly greater than the Non-hispanic black children.

Screening and dignosis of autism spectrum disorder is very difficult .there is no any type of medical test to dignose the autism spectrum disorder. Doctor should look at the child behaviour and developmental milestone to dignose this. Autism spectrum disorder can be dignose at the age of 18 MONTH to 2 years. dignosis of autism spectrum disorder can be takin ito two steps 1. developmental screening 2. comprehensive dignostic evaluation.

Developmental screening is taken a short test to know if the children is learning the basic skill or it should be delayed. during this doctor should ask several question related to child learn, speak, behaves and moves. A delay in any of the area could be a sign of problem. Additional screening should be taken if the child at the high risk of autism spectrum disorder.

Comprehensive dignostic evaluation------this is a thorough review of child developmental and behaviour pattern .it may also include hearing testing, vision screening, genetic testing, neurological testing and other medical testing.
