CAN SOMEONE DO THESES PROBLEMS

Consider the curve xz + lnz-5 in the xz plane. Find an equation of the plane which is perpendicular to this curve at z = 5. Find parametric equations of the line contained in the xz plane and in plane of part (a). Consider a line which contains the two points (1, 2, 6) and (2, 4, 8). A second line i the line of intersection of the two planes: x - y + 2z + 1 = 0, and the second plane contains the points: (3, 2, -1), (0, 0, 1), and (l, 2, l). Determine the distance between t first line above, and the line of intersection between the two planes. (If the lines intersect, this distance is zero.)

Explanation / Answer

b)So now the parametric equations for the line are y = 0, z = t, x = [(11 - 2ln5) - [t(6-ln5)/5]]/5. This takes care of all the answers. Do you have any more doubts?
