Answer (a) :

The prodcut structure for the given bracket is as below with the individual quantities are mentioned along with the components as below.

Answer (b) : The gross quantities needed of components for making 125 bracket assemblies are as below .

The unit quantities requirement calculated for each item, based on the bill of material structure as shown below. Then unit quantity multiplied by the 125 numbers, to get the desired quanitity needed for each item to make 125 brackets.

If we have in stock 25 base and 100 clamps, then we need to make only 100 base, 250 springs and 275 clamps.
