Hi everyone I have a question about a mux system that I found the solution to on chegg.

(1) Looking at the circuit diagram in the link, when building the circuit where do you connect the select lines of each mux to? (I don't think you just leave them open..)

(2) Is the circuit designed correctly? I am slightly confused as to why inputs ABC are all zero..

Explanation / Answer

1) Each select lines are connected to the inputs of mux.

As you stated in part 2 that all inputs are 0 then even changing slect lines will have no effect on output and have same output as 0.

2)The circuit might be correctly designed as you can choose input values anything and even all zero's.
