The 1st variable, Type of transportation industry is qualitative in nature

And the 2nd variable number of job related injuries is quantitative.

4c. Level of measurement of:

-Type of transportation industry is nominal (lowest level of measurement), since the data points belong to certain number of categories

- Job related injuries is ratio scale (highest level of measurement), numerical in nature with zero absolute value (which is not apt for interval scale, in case there is no job related injuries in a particular industry).

4d. Among Histogram and Pareto, Pareto would be most applicable to the data, since it highlights the highest occurring phenomenon (frequency), in this case, which industry faces largest job related injury cases, hence the most risk.

Histogram would provide an idea on the overall distribution of the data.
