Question
I was attempting to do this with INDEX+MATCH, but i could not get it to work. Maybe you have to use a VLOOKUP but I don't know.
Enter a lookup formula in cell C8 that: (1) displays the Price of a ticket based on the Ageand Ticket Location entered by a person in C6 and C7, respectively and (2) displays an appropriate error message if the person enters an illegal Ticket Location (e.g., Backstage) in Cell C7 Ticket Price Table Ticket Location12 and Under Over 12 Yrs Old $65 $50 $30 516 Ticket Price Quote $90 $70 $30 $20 21 Floor Premier Floor Balcony Standing Room Ticket Location: Price: 10 13 14Explanation / Answer
=IFERROR(IF(C6<12.0000001,VLOOKUP(C7,E6:F6,2,0),VLOOKUP(C7,E6:G9,3,0)),'Not a correct value')
