1) Are there ethical considerations to ponder when evaluating the super bowl? If so, what are they?

2) If you are given the probability of a team winning, does it take away from the sport? Why or why not?

3) What is your opinion of probability and its place in sports? Is it like placing a bet in horse racing or the Indy 500? Why or why not? Consider the Final Four and which team will win. Could the rule of combination be used? Why or why not?

Explanation / Answer

1) The Superbowl game is all about Strength and not about talent. The players are trained to build the muscles and unusual equipments to play. This port is more like wrestling which people wants to watch for entertainment and not actually play it. This sport do not actually motivate the people to play it. In this sport players are generally strong and are more prone to injuries. Hence, I believe this unethical sport as it is dangerous to players health.

2) I believe people watch this sport on the scope of entertainment and not what will be the outcome. Hence, probability of team winning can only excite the game and betting.

3) I think adding probability to sports results will spice up the outcome. Like people betting against the odds for higher betting amount keeping in mind the probability. It can also shatter or build up the motivation of the team with the favour or agains the probability. I wont say its like placing bet in horse racing as in horse racing betting is legal and it is rule by gangsters and mafia's and it can be probably rigged by the association for earning better results and make the horse win which is against the odds for there betterment.

Yes, the rule of combination can be used to identify which team will win as after analysing each team there strentghts and weakness the winning team for each combination is identified. and the final resulst can also be identified.
