Question
A study compared the intensity felt of unrequitted love among three groups:
group one: 50 individuals who were currently experienceing unrequited love, who had a mean intensity of M=3.5, S^2=5.2
group two: 50 who had previously experienced unrequited love and described their experiences M=3.2, S^2=5.8 group three: 50 who had never experienced unrequited love but described how they thought it would feel M=3.8, S^2=4.8.
i found the grand mean: (3.5+3.2+3.8)/3 = 3.5
then i tried to find MSB: (sum of(M-GM)^2)/(k-1)
( (3.5-3.5)^2 + (3.2-3.5)^2 + (3.8-3.5)^2 ) / 2 = .09
so .09 = MSB
then I found MSW by adding all the s^2 and dividing by 3 = 5.267
i found F(cv) - 3.10 (dfw 150, dfb 2 but my book only had dfw up to 90)
so to find the F score i divided .09/5.267
i know there's something wrong with the MSB but idk what i'm doing wrong because this is what my notes say to do?

Conclusion: P=0.4277 and alpha=0.05
P > alpha we accept the Null hypothesis.
