Carter cleaning company
Carter cleaning company is a service oriented company where they will have a lot of interaction with the customers. Jenifer in the company feels that since there has not been a formal training or orientation to its employees, their company is not meeting the standards what they are expecting it to be. The company feels there are certain practises which needs to be followed by the company are not being done.
When the customers come there are certain practises that needs to be followed like Wishing the customers when they arrive and making them comfortable and ensuring that the garments what they get needs to be evaluated to check the unusual stains or damages. All the garments which are brought needs to placed in such a way that they are not mixed with other customer garments. Also there should be a friendly gesture with a wish like “Have a good day” needs to be wished to them to make them feel good about the company. These are the trainings which are lacking in the employees of Jenifer’s company.
Also Jenifer feels that the employees in the company were not so happy and since they were under paid which was leading to employees quitting the job. There had been many instances where people who leaves on Friday does not turn to the job on Monday assuming that they does not get paid. Some scenario’s the employees gives the company some notice that they are quitting and allow them some time to find the replacement at least.
Jenifer also believes that having the training and orientation program for employees will certainly enhances the knowledge of employees and it is going to help in the business and turnover as well.
