1. CHAOS study's definition of a successful it project can be considered as well thought out and planned analysis of the three basic deliverables of any project, the time, the budget and the scope and how they relate together to provide a company with the statistics of successful project completion, taking into account all the new factors. The results that are provided after analyzing these factors will definitely present the correct representation of the value of the success of the project and therefore should be implemented.
2.There can be some factors that can be included in the analysis of the success of any project but altogether, the areas that the CHAOS study provide, accurately depict the best values for evaluation of any project.
3. Recent college graduates can be project managers right away depending upon their experience with handling projects that are of the magnitude that they have been offered the position for. Usually however, this is not the case.
To complete the project with effective results, there are many factors that come into play. This could include things like better project management technique, better communication among departments, resolution of conflict, damage control etc. This is a skill that only talented or experienced managers can handle, especially if the scope of the project is big. The typical career path to become project managers can include starting from the lowest position in the chain of commands and gradually rising from there towards the group leader, manager that controls the leaders, upper management that controls the manager and then project manager which has all the other managers and leaders working under them.
