At the end of the term, you should have a workable training program in place to address a theoretical organizational performance deficiency. Application of your creative skills is necessary as you will craft an organization for which you will develop a training module to address a fault in performance of operations that has resulted in a gap between actual organizational performance (AOP) and expected organizational performance (EOP). The deficiency could manifest itself in profitability shortfalls, low levels of customer satisfaction, excessive waste of materials, etc. Project Part 1 is worth 50 points.

Parameters: For Part 1 of the project you are required to provide an overview of a company (real or one you create) in approximately 750 words:

Identify a company of your choice (or create one) and provide background information on the organization (type of company, products, services, location, number of employees, etc.).

Discuss the organization's mission and vision statements.

List and discuss the organization's strategic objectives.

Discuss the issues that led up to the triggering events and the resulting need.

Explain how HR and the training unit will work together to ensure that the training program is launched.

Company Name- WiseSample Internet LLP

Background- It was founded by a group of 3 friends working in the same organisation in 2015 as they shared the same vision of providing sample to market research firms.Since then it has expanded from 3 people to 100+ employee and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada with offices in Singapore, India and US.

It has brought together technology, automation and experience into delivering what the client needs which is quality data. So, this firm basically does sampling for the clients i.e. targeting the optimal N(specified by client) which represents the population exactly so that the client gets the mirrored data of the targeted population where he wants to launch the product/make changes in the sale etc.

Vision- As stated earlier, it wants to deliver quality data to the client. So, in order to fulfil that vision, its sub- vision is to have its panel base all over the world which is diversifying its panel.

Strategic objectives-

Trigging Events- The managing partner Mr Shekhar was asked to leave from his organisation in 2014 after 9 years of working. So, he knew only two things which was sampling and the other thing was to make coffee and he had the responsibilty of a kid and his wife. So, he decided to take a risk by selling his house and starting this company with his other two friends. Now, he/his partners are quite rich.

Problem- As this is a growing organisation with loads of work in hand, so it needs people in order to do the job.

HR and the Training Unit- Management has sent the request for recruitment to the HR and told them that the coming quater shall be all the more busy in terms of business.

Forecasting the need, the HR and training unit came together to formulate the training program. Now, the training will be taken by the experienced employees. However, the businees is already increasing so the company needs the experienced people to do sampling too.

Ergo, the best solution for the training of the new employees is to divide the trainers into two parts. Two people shall be taking the training in the morning in the first half of their regular shift. The other two people shall be taking the training in the later half if their shift. So, new joinees shall undergo speedy training in order to do the jobs soon enough.

Before, going the training, they shall be giver an overview of the training module and a presentation by the HR which they shall be requested to go through before coming in the training.
