Lets talk about Flextime which is a contemporary concept and has molded the way in which we perceived work hours vis a vis the traditional concept of organizations. This concept is quite beneficial for the employees within a given organization and help build a rapport between the various hierarchies within a given organization. It is a concept that is also used during the studying of Industrial Psychology.

Flextime helps in flexing, that is, being languid with the start and finish times of ones working hours. That is, within a given day if you need to work for 6 hours, then the employees have the liberty to flex the times of when they wish to start, and, as a consequence, when they finish. For instance a worker can start at noon and get done by 6 in the evening. It is about the construct of flexible time.

Although this concept is more prevalent in high skilled/educated jobs, and has shown a positive influence on the employees results as they are able to perform better according to the time they prefer by flexing. This has been verified by sundry empirical evidence.
