It is very necessary for technician Pharmacist to strictly follow process that is based on system and if they have any concern or question about working of processes they must inform pharmacist.
It is very important for technician working at prescription drop-off, that he create a checklist of patients’ information like D.O.B. on hard copy of priscription.because it can work as second identifier during verification.
When patient communicate to pharmacist for verification it is vey important that information of medical condition and allergy are updated in their profile. It can help pharmacists to determine whether prescription are written correctly or not.
