You may have taken a stance on abortion prior to this class. That's fine, but not required. . We all should have read the authors from the past two modules. There will be an additional requirement for this discussion: You must go c .. the internet or the library and pull one article, book, study, journal, etc. to discuss and that will support your stance on this issue. It can be philosophical, scientific, historical, legal, or anything other legitimate source. No fake news, but research from special interest groups may be OK. . We are going to practice having a civil discussion over a contentious issue, but we will all be equipped with existing philosophical discourse, and our research. The prompt is: in 200-300 words, please describe your stance on abortion. Is it moral, or immoral? Nonmoral? Amoral? Justify your stance with reasoning and evidence. You may echo any of our authors' reasoning, or state your own. Please incorporate findings from an article, and properly cite that article in MLA format at the bottom of the page. Explanation / Answer

One of the biggest dilemma that has circled all around the world is that of abortion and if it is ethically correct. The problem is that there are many problems in this aspect. One of the biggest problems is that this is a multi faceted problem and there cannot be a strict yes or no for this problem. Abortion, is regarded as being ethically wrong. Marquis says that killing is wrong since because the individual is not even aware of the future that he would be having and hence, it is “prima facie” wrong. This view says that since a person has not even seen what his future would be like he should not be killed. A human, at least has the right to know what his future is holding and then be decided upon, if he should live or not. This thought process is simple, stating that every human has the right to live and has the right to know what their future enfolds. Hence, i disagree with abortion. If there are strong medical complications, even then the person should have the right to live. It should be up to them to decide If they would want to continue their lives with prevailing disorders. The basic concept is, right to life should be exercised by everyone.
