Other than the science behind the adequate temperature and just the right proportions of ingredients, it is seen that much success in baking the perfect cake depends on following the exact steps or procedures. A clear procedural guide to baking can therefore help in carrying out the action. At present, you will be lead through simple steps to baking just the right batch of cupcakes.
Before beginning, you need to do a little preparation and know the ingredients or the materials needed in the process of baking cupcakes. This requires: 2 cups of all purpose flour, 1/4 cup castor sugar, 1/4 cup butter or 2 Tablespeoons edible oil, 3 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/4 teaspoon baking powder Andy 1-2 tablespoons milk. One needs the following tools for preparing cupcakes- a whisk or electric beater, a sieve to sift the flour and the baking powder together; spoons for stirring the flour, cupcake tin or moulds. 1. Gather all the ingredient stuff and make sure the eggs and the butter are at the room temperature.

9. Line, that is put some grease in the cavities of the cupcake tin so tha the batter does not stick to the mound and you can remove the finished cupcakes easily after baking.
10. Gently pour the batter in each of the Lined cupcake cavity ofthe tin. Leave 1/4 th inch of the top of the mound empty as the cupcakes would rise in the oven and may overflow if filled till the top.
11. Turn off the oven, carefully put the cupcake tins on the middle rack and close the oven door. Turn on the timer of the oven for 35 minutesand this will start the baking process.
12. After 35minutes, once the oven timer has rung switch off the oven. Wait for 10 minutes.
13. Then, open the oven door and take out the cupcake tins. Insert a knife in the middle of one cupcake to see if it’s cooked all the way or still a bit wet and uncooked. If the knife comes out clean then the cakes are ready. If, there is wet batter on the knife, then put the tin back in the oven Andy bake for another five minutes. Then remove the tray from the oven.
14. Cool the tin outside the oven for about 20 minutes before removing each cupcake by running a knife between the cupcake and the edges of tin. Once all the cupcakes are removed, put them on a plate to eat or a store in a box for later.
