1) Creating win-win situation: One of the most important aspects about successful pitching is in the understanding that everybody wants something for their benefit. So, it is very important to show the stakeholders how they are getting benefitted by the implementation of idea. You have to tell them what they are going to get from it.
2) Avoid Technical Jargons: One must understood that stakeholders might not be comfortable with the technical jargon and terms, so the pitching should be in simple language.
3) Show them the facts in terms of numbers or cases: If you want to pitch your idea successfully, you must present the fact data in simple and clear way. Proper analysis should be done beforehand. Different cases should be considered so that queries can be handled.
4) Avoid overpromising: This is i believe that the most difficult but important aspect of successful pitching. There is a tendency to overpitch and promise the things which cannot be delivered.
