According to many types of research, it is now a well-established fact that eight oversleep is not necessary for everyone due to their different body type, genetics and age.It may vary from person to person.Hence, one should sleep according to his sleeping pattern.However, eight-hour sleep may be good for health but it may not apply to everyone.

The sudden change in sleeping pattern may cause fatigue, sleepiness, headache, anxiety, and many disorder associated with sleep.
