The theory of natural theology has its beginnings in the Greek theology. It dealt with an inquiry into the lives and activities of the gods or divinities with the distinction that claims about God proceed from understanding or reason. The philosophy of natural theology can be traced back to the writings of Plato and later St. Augustine who took on from Plato.
