The brain is divided into three main parts Forebrain, hindbrain and midbrain. The forebrain is made up of cerebrum which is associated with thoughts and action and lymbic system deals with emotions, memories and arousal. Mid brain is made up of brain stem which is reponsible for vital life functions such as breathing, heart beat and blood pressure. Hindbrain is made up of cerebellum - it is associated with regulation and control of movements, posture, balance etc.

Acc. to the case study he faced social impairments due to damage in cerebellum due to which being in public seems to be difficuilt. Damage to cerebellum can lresult into inacility to judge distance, inability to perform rapid movements, tendency towards falling, slurred speech, abnormal eye movements
