My score indicates intrinsic motivation which goes with my perception as well. I do get motivated to do something if the task is interesting enough and requires my abilities. People who are intrinsically motivated engage in activities that enhance learning: They attend to instruction, rehearse new information, organize knowledge and relate it to what they already know, and apply skills and knowledge in different contexts. They also experience a sense of self-efficacy for learning and are not burdened down with anxiety. Since I am more intrinsically motivated my personality comprises more introvert traits along with intuition.Along with high levels of creativity,concentrations and autonomy at work and having conscientiousness. Motivation is a muscle.All of us have it, not all of us train it and not all of us know how to use it - yet we are all born with it.If trained daily, motivation becomes a skill, a driving force and almost a feature of the character.It seems we have an innate motivation to learn and grow that is either encouraged or discouraged by the events of our lives (nurture). I see them both Nature/Nurture as very relevant to human motivation, and when considering stress is a motivator caused by the environment or nurture, and deep rooted evolutionary survival skills are motivators as well. According to Dickers, “The motivation for current behavior has its roots in our evolutionary and personal history. Evolutionary history refers to a person’s genetic makeup or nature, and personal history is the person’s experiences or nurture. There is no such thing as intrinsic motivation.When we can identify a reinforcing consequence or schedule that maintains a behavior, we use the extrinsic label.
