Describe the number and demographics of participants; who participated in the research described in the article? (The answer to this question can be found by reading the Method section of the article, especially the “Participants” subsection).
here are the participants
Participants and Procedures Study participants were students enrolled at a mid-sized public university in the northeast US. After approval was obtained from the Institutional Review Board, surveys were administered by research assistants in high traffic, high volume areas of the campus, including dining halls, cafeterias and coffee shops, computer labs, building lobbies, the library, the fitness center, and the campus center. Participants were approached by the assistants, and asked if they would be willing to complete a survey. They were informed of the purpose of the study and were told that the study was anonymous and that there would be no way to identify study participants; they were also assured that participation was totally voluntary. Those students who agreed to participate were given letters of informed consent and surveys. After completing the surveys, the students placed them in envelopes and returned them to the research assistants.
Explanation / Answer
Demographics is the statistical data of the population where the survey has been conducted which from this fact is not possible to reveal but only it could be assumed that as its an university so participants casually should be between 50 to 100 atleast.
