Answer: (1) Mostly the people search for information on internet through search engines. Therefore search engine optimization (SEO) is the best tool for getting a website noticed by the target customers. For this purpose I will take help of professional website developer to develop my website and hire an SEO expert to get a desirable position on the search engine pages. I will also spend some money on internet marketing in which various online promotional strategies like e mail marketing, pay per click advertisements will be used for reaching out to the target audience.
(2) As the website of this company will not be a simple one but will require some functionality like online tracking of the goods and materials. Hence around $ 1000 will be invested in the development and SEO of the website. Another $ 500 will be spending on inline marketing activities. Thus total $ 1500 will be spent on online presence.
(3) Two metrics that will be used for determining the effectiveness and reach of the website will be
(a) Number of visitors per day on the website
(b) Number of leads generated per month on the website
