Secondary analysis of results refers to the data which is priory obtained on a research, is used in a new research. A researcher uses the prior data in his new research to address a different question. Secondary analysis is especially helpful when obtaining the population or the sample size is expensive. Previously obtained data, like the sample size is inexpensive and easily available. Thus, the researcher does not establish a new sample, but uses the previously obtained sample. Using primary data to test a new research, in simpler words is known as secondary analysis.
