Explanation / Answer
The most important benefit of work, according to me, is the sense of fulfilment and accomplishment that accompanies it. Elmore accurately asserts that we are driven by motives far important than money. When we engage in work that is congruent to our ideals and values, the significance of external rewards diminish. Meaningful work results in an innate sense of gratification. It allows us to believe that we have added value to the world and furnishes a sense of satisfaction that cannot simply be obtained through financial rewards alone.
