Explanation / Answer

1. The conflict of gender dysphoria is where there would be conflict between the physical gender of the person with the assigned identity of the person and the gender that is identified by the person. These people are uncomfortable in their assigned gender and are also sometimes referred to as being uncomfortable in their bodies.

The reason that this has been included since the society and the practices considered as being normal were very different in the earlier times, with the society not being as open to the deviant se-xual identity of a person. This is evident since , that was the time Even homose-xuality was considered as being considered a condition. With an increase in revolts in favour of these different se-xual orientations, there has been an increased acceptance of homose-xuality.

The reason that it is being thought to be removed is because there is an increase in awareness of the se-xual orientations that a person has and this increase in awareness and acceptance has led to a rethinking of the condition.

2. This documentary allows greater understanding of the transgender children. In this case, the parents support the children and allow them to live with the identity that they want to. This allows them the freedom to chose their own identity and gain a confidence in self and with being comfortable with their bodies. If there is a conflict between the assigned and the allocated gender, they become uncomfortable in their bodies and hence lose self confidence with the intention of changing later on in their life. Hence, parents should be supportive in these situations rather than adamant and conservative.
