The HR manager said they recently offered jobs to a number of people to fill vacancies at several new locations. They have used the same hiring system for the past 10 years. She thought it was a good system but the data from their recent testing worries her. A. The evidence show an adverse impact in the hiring policy of the company. Though company appears to neutral in it's hiring policy and is hiring minority, but the number of jobs offered to minority is almost a nine fold less than the majority. This makes the company's hiring policy to be discriminatory.
B. The analysis means that company's hiring policy is discriminatory towards the minority. This policy should be changed and equal opportunities for job with the majority should be given to the minority to make it indiscriminatory, and also to keep the out the company of any legal trouble regarding it.
